Check out what Family and Consumer Science 1 students have been up to lately! One student used the skills learned in the hand sewing unit to repair a shop teacher's shirt. Other students practiced basic sewing machine skills by making a cloth lanyard. Students had to practice cutting straight, ironing, and sewing straight lines for this project. Students were proud and wanted to show off their completed projects!

Ms. Baker's Advertising class spent the last several days working with Mrs. Lail, Work Based Learning Coordinator, on resume writing, employability and interview skills. The culmination of all this was mock interviews with different faculty and staff members. This was a great learning experience and the students seemed to enjoy it!
